Number of Azerbaijani tourists up in Georgia by over twofold

Some 66,398 people from Azerbaijan visited Georgia during the first half of 2022 which is 2.2 times more than in the same period of 2021.

A total of 1.6 million tourists visited Georgia from January through June 2022, which is 3.3 times more than a year earlier, Report informs referring to the report of the Georgian National Tourism Administration. 

The number of tourists reached 1.2 million people.

Georgia’s income from the tourism sector reached $840.9 million from January through May 2022.
