Over 20,000 participants from 176 countries register for WUF13 in Baku

More than 20,000 participants from 176 countries have registered to attend the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), set to take place in Baku from May 17 to 22, organisers said.

According to the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company, the event will bring together government officials, urban planners, experts, and stakeholders from around the world to discuss key challenges and innovations in urban development, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The forum is being organised in cooperation with the UN-Habitat.

WUF13 aims to promote the exchange of global experiences in sustainable urban development, smart city initiatives, and innovative solutions for rapidly growing urban populations.
