Over 80 US servicemen to take part in Eagle Partner 2023 in Armenia

About 85 US servicemen will take part in joint US-Armenia exercises entitled Eagle Partner 2023.

“About 85 US and 175 Armenian servicemen will take part in the exercises, to be held from September 11 to 20. The exercises will involve military personnel from the First Brigade of the US 101st Airborne Division and the Kansas National Guard, with which Armenia has had a partnership programme for more than 20 years,” TASS reports citing the command of the US Army in Europe and Africa.

Colonel Martin O'Donnell noted that the exercises will allow countries to "build relationships at the tactical level" and increase "interoperability" between units for peacekeeping operations.

The Armenian Defence Ministry informed on September 6 that the joint military exercises will be held on Armenian territory from September 11 to 20.
