Pashinyan dissatisfied with Stoltenberg's statement on Armenia, Ukraine
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is not obliged to coordinate statements with Armenia, including on "solidarity with Ukraine".
"There is no such practice that statements are agreed upon during visits What Mr. Stoltenberg said about our solidarity [with Ukraine] publicly, people can assess it in different ways. In this tense environment, officials from different sides may appear and make statements on their behalf that are unpleasant for the other side," Pashinyan said responding to the question from opposition MP Agnessa Khamoyan, TASS reports.
The Armenian prime minister added that the country had not sold arms to Ukraine.
Pashinyan also claimed that both NATO and Russia had made anti-Armenian statements.
