Poland eyes joining NATO's nuclear sharing programme

In connection with Russia's deployment of tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus, Poland wants to take part in the NATO nuclear sharing program.

According to TASS, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki made the statement at a press conference following the EU summit in Brussels.

"Due to the fact that Russia intends to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, we are appealing to the entire NATO to participate in the Nuclear Sharing program," he said.
