Poland hosts joint exercise Astral Knight-24 PHOTO
Poland, the United States and the Baltic States are holding an international air force exercise called Astral Knight-24, according to the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces.
The main purpose of the exercise is to expand the integration of the IAMD (Integrated Air and Missile Defence) system and build an airborne command and control architecture, Caliber.Az reports, citing Defence Turk's page on social network X,

The exercise programme also envisages the integration of air defence forces and means under the scenarios of real exercises and real-time virtual visualisation.
The General Staff added that officers from the 183rd Air Operations Group and the Air Operations Centre play a key role in the planning and execution process. They systematically carry out activities to enhance operational air defence capabilities on NATO's eastern flank.
