Positive balance of Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover triples

Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with foreign countries worth $30.59 billion from January to July this year, which is 69.9 per cent more than in the same period last year.

In the past seven months, exports accounted for $22.565 billion of foreign trade turnover, imports - $7.494 billion, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee.

Over the past year, exports grew by 98 per cent, imports - by 19 per cent.

As a result, a positive balance of $15.71 billion was formed in the country’s foreign trade, which is three times more than a year earlier.
