Powerful earthquake recorded in Russia's Kamchatka

An earthquake that could be felt by people with a magnitude of 6.1 occurred in the Kamchatka Territory.

According to TASS, this was reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

“The source of the seismic event lay at a depth of 59 km. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 128 km from Severo-Kurilsk, the message says.

The strength of the tremors is being specified.
