Recruit’s path in Azerbaijan: From basic training to fulfilment of combat tasks PHOTO/VIDEO

In accordance with the order of Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev "On conscription of citizens of Azerbaijan for fixed-term active military service and dismissal of servicemen of fixed-term active military service from July 1 to 30, 2023", the separate general army of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic continues to receive new recruits.

All conditions for military service have been created in the Separate Combined Armed Forces Army, military units are fully materially and technically equipped, thanks to which the current recruits become professional soldiers capable of performing the most difficult combat tasks, Caliber.Az informs citing the Defence Ministry.

At the initial stage, conscripts are sent to the military unit by a State Mobilisation and Conscription Service representative. They undergo a medical examination in a military hospital equipped with modern medical equipment.

The health of young soldiers is constantly in the centre of attention of the military leadership and periodic medical examinations of the personnel are carried out in military units. Proper nutrition is also one of the main conditions for maintaining the health of the personnel. In the canteen of the military unit, soldiers are served a variety of healthy and environmentally friendly dishes.

After taking the military oath, new recruits begin to learn military skills.
