Azerbaijani defence minister pledges higher combat readiness for army

Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has congratulated the personnel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on National Salvation Day.

The congratulatory message highlighted the exceptional contributions of national leader Heydar Aliyev in eliminating threats to Azerbaijan’s independence and sovereignty, as well as his political experience and leadership, which helped the country overcome a socio-political crisis and chaos, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence.

“I am confident that the personnel of the Azerbaijani army, faithful to the ideas of the national leader, will continue to remain loyal to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the military oath and the military regulations, further improve their combat and moral-psychological preparedness, and carry out the orders and instructions of the Commander-in-Chief at the highest level,” Hasanov said.
