Romanian company eyes expansion in Azerbaijani market, seeks renewed cooperation with SOCAR
Romanian industrial equipment manufacturer COMES has expressed its intention to expand its presence in the Azerbaijani market and strengthen ties with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
Vadim Lebed, sales manager, highlighted the company's interest in revitalising and deepening its cooperation with Azerbaijan’s energy sector, particularly in the context of Azerbaijan’s growing industrial and oil and gas infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
“The company is engaged in the production of pressure equipment and has previously exported products to a number of foreign countries, including Azerbaijan,” Lebed noted.
“The Azerbaijani market is developing dynamically, and we have our own vision in this area,” the company’s official added.
Comes, which specialises in manufacturing equipment for the oil and gas, chemical, and gas processing industries, previously supplied large-scale heat exchangers to SOCAR’s methanol plant. With a renewed focus on regional partnerships, the company now aims to resume that cooperation and explore additional joint opportunities.
“In the past, we supplied large-size heat exchangers to SOCAR’s methanol plant,” Lebed underlined. “Currently, we intend to resume cooperation. We are also interested in establishing ties with SOCAR Türkiye in the future,” he added.
