A statement by the ministry says that the journalists from Italy’s state TV and radio company, RAI, entered Russian territory without permission to report on a recent terrorist attack by Ukrainian militants in Kursk. The Russian authorities have condemned this breach of Russian law and journalistic ethics, accusing the journalists of using their presence to propagate support for the actions of the Kyiv regime.
The Russian Foreign Ministry described the journalists' actions as a serious violation, asserting that these activities fall under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Russian authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the legal implications and appropriate responses.
