Russia, Türkiye developing payment system for Russian tourists

Russia and Türkiye are working on a payment system of which cards Russian tourists can use in the country.

This was reported on April 28 by the Hürriyet newspaper, citing sources in the administration of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan following his talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

According to the publication, the payment system will be called Rebit kart. Russian tourists will allegedly be able to "easily use" the system's cards in Turkey using an app on their mobile devices.
