Armenian Security Council chief to undertake official visit to Tehran
Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, is scheduled to visit Tehran on August 29, responding to an official invitation from his Iranian counterpart, Ali Larijani.
According to a statement released by the Armenian Security Council, the visit aims to deepen bilateral dialogue and cooperation between the two nations, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
During his stay, Grigoryan is expected to hold a series of high-level meetings with senior Iranian officials, focusing on enhancing strategic partnerships and addressing regional security concerns.
This visit follows a recent phone conversation between Grigoryan and Larijani on August 16, where both officials discussed the current trajectory of Armenian-Iranian relations and exchanged views on the evolving geopolitical situation in the region.
To recall, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has previously paid an official visit to Yerevan.
