Russian delegation visits Azerbaijan's Military Police Department PHOTO
A delegation led by Major General Vitaly Kokh, Deputy Head of the Main Military Police Department of the Russian Armed Forces, has arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in a working meeting focused on discipline in the armed forces and road safety.
The delegation paid a visit to the Alley of Martyrs to honour the memory of fallen heroes, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.
During the meeting, representatives from both countries were provided with an overview of the Military Police Department's history, daily operations, logistical support, and training programs. They engaged in discussions on various mutual interests.
The Russian delegation toured the administrative building and examined modern weapons and equipment used by military police units. They also visited a military unit under the Military Police Directorate, where they observed training exercises that demonstrated search and rescue operations in populated areas, neutralization of armed individuals, and the evacuation of prisoners of war.
