A Russian drone struck a unit of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) in the Sumy region late on April 16, causing damage to a fire and rescue station, officials have said.
In a statement, the emergency service said: “Late in the evening of April 16, Russia carried out another cynical attack.
An enemy UAV hit a fire and rescue unit. The building was partially damaged. At the time of the strike, personnel were sheltering. Fortunately, no one was injured.”
The agency did not immediately provide further details on the extent of the damage or the type of drone used.
