Russian region entrepreneurs plan to sign export contracts in Azerbaijan
The representative office of the Russian Export Centre in Azerbaijan has hosted a meeting with a delegation of the business circles of Russia's Orel region, who arrived with a business mission to Azerbaijan led by regional Export Support Centre head Inessa Volkova.
The visit is aimed at concluding export contracts for the supply of products of enterprises of the Orel region, Trend reports, citing Russia's trade representation in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Russia's trade representative in Azerbaijan Ruslan Mirsayapov spoke about financial and non-financial instruments to support exporters, the specifics of participation in public and private procurement, as well as additional niches for promoting the products of the Orel region producers.
In turn, Inessa Volkova noted that the export of small and medium-sized businesses of the Orel region accounts for 38 per cent of the total export revenue of the region, which is a fairly high indicator compared to other regions of Russia's central Federal District.
In the coming days, the business mission's members will have a large number of negotiations, B2B meetings and visits to Azerbaijani enterprises.
It should be noted that the delegation included representatives of KZ Expert-cable LLC (manufacturer of cable and wire products), Katrina LLC (manufacturer of innovative products for heating), and Samson LLC (manufacturer of lifting mechanisms and removable lifting devices).
