Secondary market transactions on SOCAR bonds reach $21 million

SOCAR's bonds issued in past 6 months, were traded in secondary market transactions to the amount of $21 million.

So far, over 160 transactions for the repurchase and resale of new bonds have been carried out at the Baku Stock Exchange, SOCAR Capital LLC told Report.

Currently, these securities are the most widely traded corporate financial instruments on the Stock Exchange.

This month, SOCAR bonds were bought and sold at $1,094, which is the highest price registered so far. In general, the price of the bonds has never dropped below their face value ($1,000).

The second coupon payment on the new SOCAR bonds will take place on May 4 - after the Ramadan holiday.
