SOCAR, Baker Hughes catch up on progress across joint projects

Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR) has reviewed the progress of several ongoing projects with energy technology firm Baker Hughes.

Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR, met with Amerino Gatti, Executive Vice President for Oilfield Services and Equipment at the American firm, to discuss their bilateral partnership, Caliber.Az reports, citing information shared by Azerbaijan's state company.

According to a statement issued by SOCAR, the meeting highlighted the importance of the 2024 cooperation agreement between the two companies and reviewed joint projects implemented since then.

Najaf and Gatti also exchanged views on planned initiatives, including the introduction of new technologies for well construction, the digitalization of related processes, and other matters of mutual interest.
