SOCAR, bp discuss areas of cooperation on new oil, gas projects

The State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has considered areas of cooperation with bp on current and promising oil and gas projects.

The talks were held at a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and bp Executive Vice President for Production and Operations Gordon Birrell, who is on a visit to Baku, Report informs.

According to the information, satisfaction was expressed at the meeting with mutually beneficial cooperation and strategic partnership between SOCAR and bp.

During the meeting, areas of cooperation on current and promising oil and gas projects were considered, views were exchanged on projects in the field of renewable energy sources, the exchange of experience in the field of human capital and other issues of mutual interest.
