Azerbaijan, UK, Türkiye strengthen energy ties with new exploration agreements
During the 30th Baku Energy Week, Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR), British energy giant bp, and Türkiye’s Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) formalized a series of significant agreements focused on oil and gas exploration and production.
Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov announced the developments via his social media platform X, emphasizing the strategic importance of the accords, Caliber.Az reports.

“Within the framework of the 30th Baku Energy Week SOCAR, bp, and TPAO signed several key agreements in oil and gas exploration and production. The implementation of these accords will diversify cooperation among the companies and enhance production and operational efficiency,” a post by Jabbarov notes.
