SOCAR considers expansion of energy partnership with Pakistan

The President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovshan Najaf, has welcomed Pakistan's visiting Minister of Privatization, Transport, and Investment, Aleem Khan.

The parties discussed the expansion of energy cooperation between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports citing the SOCAR chief's statement on the meeting published on his official X account. 

In it, he noted that both sides expressed satisfaction with the current partnership between SOCAR and Pakistan’s energy companies.

As Caliber.Az recalls, the recent opening of the Azerbaijan Trade House in the Punjab province's capital Lahore is another initiative that aims to strengthen bilateral trade and cultural ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. This platform offer create new investment and business opportunities, allowing traders and entrepreneurs from both nations to expand their networks, increase trade volumes, and establish long-term economic partnerships.
