SOCAR expands presence in Romania with three new petrol stations PHOTO
Ahead of the International Day of Azerbaijani Solidarity and New Year celebrations, Azerbaijan’s state oil company, SOCAR, has opened three new petrol stations in Romania.
The new fuel stations are located in the regions of Sălaj, Suceava and Satu Mare, bringing SOCAR Petroleum SA’s total network in Romania to 91 stations, Caliber.Az report via local media.
Ramin Aliyev, CEO of SOCAR Petroleum SA, said the company continues to expand its network successfully through ongoing investment projects.
“2025 has been a successful year for SOCAR. We expanded our network of petrol stations in Romania. While we initially planned to open nine new stations this year, we are concluding 2025 with 14. We have ambitious plans to exceed 100 stations by 2026. Our goal remains to further strengthen SOCAR’s position in Romania’s fuel market,” he said.
