SOCAR, Geoplin forge new alliance to boost gas supply cooperation
In a significant move to strengthen energy ties, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Geoplin, Slovenia's largest natural gas supply company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding cooperation in the field of gas supply.
The announcement was made by SOCAR, following a high-level meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Slovenian Minister of Environment, Climate, and Energy Bojan Kumer, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The discussions were held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and shared vision for the future of energy cooperation.
During the meeting, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the ongoing development of bilateral energy ties.
They noted the successful collaborations to date and emphasized the wide-ranging potential for future cooperation, particularly in natural gas supply.
