SOCAR, IFC discuss reducing carbon emissions PHOTO

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of energy transition and reduction of carbon emissions.

As Report informs referring to SOCAR, the discussions took place at a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and IFC Regional Director for Europe Rana Karadsheh.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful development of cooperation between IFC and Azerbaijan, the importance of joint projects implemented in various areas, including financial services, infrastructure and production, was emphasized.
