The signing ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, and the CEO of International Holding Company (IHC) responsible for digital transformation, Ajay Hans Raj Bhatia. The document was signed by SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and IntelliGrid CEO Bipin Chandra.
Under the agreement, IntelliGrid’s artificial intelligence capabilities will be used to integrate data analysis, predictive maintenance, and real-time monitoring. This will enable gas consumption optimisation, minimise losses, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Notably, on June 6, Esyasoft, a subsidiary of International Holding Company (IHC), and Presight, the region's leading provider of big data analytics powered by Generative AI, have unveiled a new joint venture called IntelliGrid during the Baku Energy Week in Azerbaijan. This strategic collaboration is set to deploy cutting-edge smart gas grids, advanced metering infrastructure, state-of-the-art digital Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices, and intelligent AI platforms.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, IntelliGrid’s primary goal is to support the transition to reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy solutions in electricity, water, and gas sectors. By leveraging Presight's expertise in big data analytics and AI, in conjunction with AIQ’s leadership in AI for the energy industry and Esyasoft’s technology and analytics solutions, the venture aims to unlock synergies that will enhance the efficiency of existing energy grid infrastructure.
IntelliGrid is positioned to make significant strides in the utilities sector, deploying innovative technologies and intelligent solutions that address critical challenges in the management of electricity, water, and gas. This collaboration marks a vital step towards creating a smarter, more interconnected energy future.
