SOCAR, PETROCI chart course for broader energy partnership PHOTO

President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf held talks with Fatoumata Sanogo, Chief Executive Officer at PETROCI Holding, to discuss expanding cooperation between the two energy companies.

The meeting focused on the progress of the Baleine oil and gas field development project, with both sides expressing satisfaction with their ongoing collaboration and reviewing the status of the project's implementation, Caliber.Az reports, citing SOCAR.

The discussions also centered on strengthening the strategic partnership between SOCAR and PETROCI Holding and identifying new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The sides explored opportunities to deepen collaboration in hydrocarbon exploration and production, crude oil and petroleum products trading, refining, digitalization, the application of artificial intelligence, and human capital development.
