SOCAR showcases at international oil exhibition in Abu Dhabi
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) announced its participation in the International Oil Exhibition and Conference taking place in the UAE from November 4 to 7 through a post on its social media platform, X.
"SOCAR is represented with its own stand at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2024)," the statement reads, Caliber.Az reports.

Meanwhile, as ADIPEC 2024 unfolds in Abu Dhabi, the global energy community is immersed in vibrant discussions and innovative showcases under the theme “Connecting Minds. Transforming Energy.”
This year’s conference, hosted by ADNOC from November 4 to 7, is drawing over 184,000 attendees from 164 countries, making it the largest edition to date.
A key feature of ADIPEC 2024 is the newly introduced AI Zone, Energyai by ADNOC, where prominent technology leaders, including Microsoft and Accenture, are unveiling groundbreaking solutions to address the energy demands of artificial intelligence while prioritising emissions reduction.
The zone includes the Energyai Conference and an immersive AI showcase, allowing attendees to engage with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate on sustainable solutions.
The exhibition spans 16 halls and features more than 2,200 exhibitors, encompassing 54 national and international oil companies and 30 country pavilions. It serves as a critical platform for showcasing innovations in decarbonisation, digitalisation, maritime logistics, and AI.
With over 1,800 speakers, including ministers and C-suite executives, the conference sessions, part of a ten-conference series, are facilitating critical conversations on energy transition and sustainability.
Attendees are gaining exclusive insights into market trends and strategies to balance immediate business needs with long-term goals, fostering a collaborative spirit crucial for industry advancement.
Christopher Hudson, President of dmg events, emphasises that this 40th edition of ADIPEC is poised to be its most impactful yet, reinforcing global commitments to an inclusive and resilient energy future.
