St. Petersburg to host Russia-Azerbaijan business dialogue
A Russia-Azerbaijan business dialogue will be held on the sidelines of the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 5 - 8.
The event will feature discussions on prospects for deepening economic cooperation between the two countries, Report informs citing the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
The focus will be on expanding trade and investment ties, including cooperation in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, energy, logistics and banking.
The event will feature speeches by Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Head of the Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia Sergei Dankvert, Governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin and Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency Orkhan Mammadov.
