Total assets of Azerbaijan’s oil company SOCAR neared $57B in 2025

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has reported total assets of 96.852 billion manats ($56.97 billion) in 2025, up 2.3% from the previous year.

According to the company’s consolidated financial data, property, plant and equipment accounted for 53.531 billion manats ($31.49 billion), down 3.5%, Caliber.Az reports.

Cash and cash equivalents stood at 8.719 billion manats ($5.13 billion), a 15.1% decline, while deposits more than doubled to 6.261 billion manats ($3.68 billion).

Trade and other receivables amounted to 8 billion manats ($4.71 billion) at the end of 2025, down 4.4%.

Total liabilities increased by 1.9% to 46.925 billion manats ($27.60 billion).

Trade and other payables stood at 8.619 billion manats ($5.07 billion), down 17.1%, while current, short-term and long-term debt obligations rose 2.1-fold to 15.103 billion manats ($8.88 billion).

SOCAR’s equity reached 49.927 billion manats ($29.37 billion), up 2.6%. Share capital increased by 5.3% to 5.282 billion manats ($3.11 billion), while retained earnings fell 1.2% to 17.922 billion manats ($10.54 billion). Non-controlling interests rose 6% to 15.83 billion manats ($9.31 billion).
