Trade minister: Azerbaijan - Kazakhstan's key partner in South Caucasus
Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin has said that Azerbaijan is a key and promising partner of Kazakhstan in the South Caucasus.
Zhumangarin made these remarks at the 19th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that this event is held within the preparation of the Azerbaijani President’s visit to Kazakhstan, which will give a new impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation.
The Kazakh minister noted that over the past year, the growth of trade turnover between the countries reached 39 per cent. However, there is potential for its further development.
“Azerbaijani market is of particular interest to Kazakhstan,” he added.
