The member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) have signed an action plan to eliminate infrastructure gaps and transit constraints along the railway section of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

The document was signed in Almaty during the 7th International Transport and Logistics Business Forum “New Silk Road” and the 8th meeting of OTS transport ministers, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov.

The key topics of discussion included strengthening international transport cooperation, developing transport corridors, and unlocking regional logistics potential.

The forum also saw parties signing a protocol on the TITR meeting of delegations and a communiqué following the transport ministers’ gathering.
