Turkish branding company keen on returning to bustling Azerbaijani market
The Turkish brand identity company Gama Reklam has expressed its interest in resuming its operations in the Azerbaijani market.
This desire was expressed by Mehmet Uzbekir Demirel, the Head of Gama Reklam, during an interview with Azerbaijan's Trend publication.
Demirel is also a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), which is currently holding a wide range of talks with industry leaders and government agencies in Baku.
He emphasised the brotherly ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, noting that the economies of both countries are capable of supporting one another.
“We build fuel stations and implement corporate identity applications. We have previously worked in Azerbaijan in cooperation with bp, with whom we collaborate in many countries around the world. In Azerbaijan, we have implemented several projects and built fuel stations. We want to resume our company’s activities in Azerbaijan. In addition, we would like to create new opportunities for cooperation with our colleagues in the country,” he said.
Demirel also praised the potential of the Azerbaijani market, noting that as the country continues to develop, so do opportunities for business. "We cooperate with all countries around the world and can implement new projects in Azerbaijan as well," he noted.
The executive added that the goal of increasing trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Türkiye to $15 billion remains on track, with both sides taking steps toward this target.
In the course of the interview, Demirel expressed his confidence that this goal could be achieved in a short period of time, considering the numerous industrial zones that are being created in various sectors, and the continuously growing private sector in Azerbaijan.
