Turkish envoy: Shusha Declaration more than document

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci has described the Shusha Declaration signed by Baku and Ankara as more than a document.

"The Shusha Declaration is more than a document, it is already a testament. We are obliged to fulfil every line of this declaration and never forget about it," Report quotes the ambassador as saying in his lecture as part of Baku-based Diplomacy Week on July 7.

"The Shusha Declaration is a roadmap for each of us. As the presidents of our countries say: 'Our strength is in our unity!' If we are together, then we are stronger. We must always be together and united. The Shusha Declaration is a step into the future," the Turkish diplomat said.
