Turkish firms implement projects worth $15.5 billion in Azerbaijan
Turkish contracting companies are implementing more than 450 projects worth $15.5 billion in Azerbaijan.
The chief adviser of the Trade Adviser of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan, Ahmet Erdal, made the remarks at a conference on "Modern materials, mechanisms and rules of use in the construction of roads, bridges and tunnels as part of the reconstruction of Karabakh", Report informs.
"We have committed ourselves to implement 455 projects in Azerbaijan, with a total cost of $15.5 billion, of which $4.2 billion is for land road projects," he said, noting that Azerbaijan ranks ninth among 130 countries in which Turkish contracting companies implement their projects.
According to Erdal, 12 Turkish companies have committed to implementing 32 projects in the field of infrastructure rehabilitation and reconstruction in Karabakh worth approximately $1.4 billion: "Some of these projects have been completed, and some are ongoing."
