Turkish president vows continued determined action against terrorism
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to resolute measures aimed at eradicating terrorism.
Speaking in the district of Ahlat, Bitlis Province, at an event marking the 954th anniversary of the Battle of Manzikert, Erdoğan described the country’s anti-terrorism initiative as entering its “final stretch,” Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.
“History is replete with examples of victories and achievements attained by Turks, Kurds, and Arabs, who united in pursuit of a common goal,” he said.
Erdoğan hailed the Battle of Manzikert as “one of the most glorious chapters in the military history of the Turkish people,” adding that Ahlat “stands as a symbol of the Turks’ enduring presence on these lands.”
The Turkish leader expressed confidence in the success of measures designed to secure a prosperous and stable future for the nation.
