Türkiye establishes Recep Tayyip Erdogan Foundation

The Recep Tayyip Erdogan Foundation has been established in Türkiye.

According to Anadolu Agency, the relevant announcement by Türkiye's Fund Administration was published in the government's official gazette, Resmi Gazete, on May 31.

The assets of the foundation, centred in Istanbul, are set at 120,000 Turkish liras ($57,900).

The purpose of the new foundation is to create the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Museum, which will exhibit items belonging to or given to the politician during his tenure in office.

In addition, the foundation plans to create the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Library, as well as organize exhibitions, scientific, cultural and art programs.
