Türkiye presents over 9,000 national standards to Azerbaijan
Head of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry Mammad Abbasbayli has said that Türkiye presented more than 9,000 national standards to Azerbaijan.
Abbasbayli made these remarks at an event in connection with World Standards Day, Trend reports on October 11.
He stressed that as a result, the Azerbaijan Standardisation Institute (AZSTAND) is entitled to distribute official publications of Turkish standards in Azerbaijan.
“One of the most important steps taken within international cooperation is the agreement on mutual cooperation between AZSTAND and the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) within the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye,” he noted.
The event on World Standards Day is underway. The event has been organised by AZSTAND under the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry and the Physical-Technical Federal Institution (PTB), which is the German National Metrology Institute.
