Türkiye rises among top importers of Azerbaijan’s non-oil products
In January and February of 2026, Russia remained the top importer of Azerbaijan's non-oil products, as reported by the Centre for Economic Reform Analysis and Communication in their latest monthly "Export Review."
According to the data, Azerbaijan exported non-oil products worth $149.1 million to Russia during the first two months of 2026, marking a slight 1.1% decline compared to the same period in 2025.
Türkiye ranked second among the importers of Azerbaijan’s non-oil products, with the volume rising by 0.7%, reaching $83.4 million in the reporting period.
Georgia placed third, importing non-oil products from Azerbaijan worth $77.2 million – an impressive 45.9% increase compared to the previous year.
Switzerland and Ukraine rounded out the top five, with exports to these countries reaching $67.7 million (a significant 55.3% growth) and $29 million (a 29.6% decline), respectively.
Looking at February 2025, Azerbaijan exported non-oil products worth $72.1 million to Russia, a 3.4% increase. Exports to Türkiye grew by 13.8%, totaling $52 million, while Georgia saw a remarkable 1.7-fold increase, reaching $45.6 million.
Switzerland also showed strong growth with a 36% rise, totaling $29.1 million in exports, while data for Kazakhstan was unavailable during this period.
