Türkiye to supply El Salvador with UAVs, armoured vehicles, helicopters PHOTO

Türkiye will supply El Salvador with ANKA UAVs, T625 Gökbey helicopter and BMC Vuran armoured vehicles.

Following the delivery of 11 BMC Vuran armoured vehicles to El Salvador in recent months, the third phase of El Salvador's Regional Security Programme has begun, Caliber.Az reports per Defence Turk on Twitter.

This phase involves the modernisation or delivery of various systems. These include systems such as Bell B-142, MD 500D and T625 Gökbey helicopters, ANKA-S and BMC Vuran UAVs.

As a reminder, a Defence Industry Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Foreign Ministry of El Salvador and the Turkish Defence Industry Authority in January 2022.

The agreement covers the principles of mutual cooperation to be carried out in the field of defence industry between the two countries by institutionalising cooperation between Türkiye and El Salvador.
