Türkiye triumphs in Europe's premier sniper competition

From August 5 to 11, the top sniper teams from 19 NATO member states gathered in Hohenfels, Germany, for Europe's premier sniper competition.

Over thirty sniper teams from twenty allied and partner countries competed head-to-head for the title of Best Sniper Team in Europe during eight days of events designed to challenge each team, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

Turkish teams excelled, with the Turkish Army team securing 1st place and the Turkish Special Forces team finishing 2nd.

The competition featured a range of challenging disciplines, including aerial shooting, targeting moving objects, high-angle shooting, positional warfare, shooting at unknown distances, tracking, night vision target detection, and pistol shooting.

The European Best Sniper Team Competition is an annual event designed to increase esprit de corps and enhance professional and personal relationships throughout the European Theater.
