Two Azerbaijani servicemen dismissed from army PHOTO

Azerbaijan has discharged two servicemen Dashgin Gasimov and Toghrul Feyruzlu for using smartphones while on duty.

The servicemen were fired because they posted service-related photos and videos on their social media accounts, which are incompatible with the relevant orders and instructions of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry's leadership, Caliber.Az reports quoting a statement from the ministry.

"Serious measures against military personnel who grossly violate the rules of military ethics, as well as the requirements of charters and relevant orders when using mobile phones, will continue to be taken," the Defence Ministry said.

Previously, similar measures were taken against military personnel who launched a live broadcast on social networks.
