Two Azerbaijani wrestlers reach European Championship final in Spain

Two Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers have reached the final of the U-20 European Championship in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

These are Jeyhun Allahverdiyev, who competes in the 61 kg weight category, and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg), according to Caliber.Az.

In the semi-finals, they beat Spaniard Mark Alvarez (11:0) and Ukrainian Vladimir Kochanov (4:0), respectively.

Allahverdiev will face Levik Mikayelyan from Armenia in the decisive match, and Dursunov will face Hakan Buyukcingil from Türkiye.
