Ukraine reportedly loses over 60 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles in battles
Ukraine has reportedly lost a significant number of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) during military operations.
This assessment was made by columnist Peter Suchiu in an article for the American magazine The National Interest.
According to reports, out of the 186 Bradley IFVs provided to Ukraine, 68 have been either destroyed, damaged, or left abandoned on the battlefield. This accounts for one-third of the total American IFVs of this model sent to Kyiv.
The situation has raised concerns about the depletion of Ukraine's military arsenal. It is said that only around 100 to 120 of the Bradley IFVs were actively used in combat, while the remaining vehicles were kept for spare parts, training, and emergency replacements.
The loss of such a large number of IFVs highlights the challenges faced by the Ukrainian armed forces in their ongoing conflict. The severity of the situation is further emphasized by the fact that a significant portion of the American-supplied vehicles has been rendered inoperable or lost in battle.
