Ukrainian armed forces attack Berdyansk seaport
Explosions broke out in Ukraine’s Berdyansk on June 2.
The Ukrainian military hit the positions of Russian troops, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the Berdyansk city military administration and local Telegram channels.
According to preliminary data, several missiles flew to the port area, which the Russian side also confirms.
In addition, an explosion was also heard in the village of Osipenko, and smoke was seen near the range, which quickly disappeared. A streak was also seen in the sky, and not from a plane.
Locals reported seeing a missile flying toward Kos, but it was shot down. It could have fallen near Slobodka.
Berdyansk has been under temporary Russian occupation since February 27, 2022.
The Russians use the city as a military base while exporting stolen Ukrainian grain through the port of Berdyansk.
Explosions frequently occur in the occupied city - flying at the positions and bases of the Russian troops.
