UN backs Azerbaijan in achieving sustainable development goals, offical says
The United Nations fully supports the Government of Azerbaijan in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, said the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Vladanka Andreeva.
“Together with our partners, the UN remains committed to supporting the Government of Azerbaijan in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. (...)," Andreeva said at the 7th Sustainable Development Goals Dialogue titled “Investing in Education for the Sustainable Development of Azerbaijan” on October 14, organised jointly by the National Coordination Council on Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Economy, and the United Nations, Caliber.Az reports.
"We work closely with the government as well as with various institutions, academia, civil society, and the private sector,” she emphasised.
Concluding her remarks, Andreeva noted that the new UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for 2026–2030 was developed in line with Azerbaijan’s national interests to achieve shared goals.
