Azerbaijan, US discuss transport projects, AI cooperation under strategic partnership
Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rahman Hummatov, has held a meeting with Rebecca Neff, Senior Advisor at the US State Department’s Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs, during which the sides discussed the potential participation of US companies in transport infrastructure projects.
The officials noted that relations between Azerbaijan and the United States have reached the level of a strategic partnership and emphasised the importance of making more effective use of existing cooperation potential, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry.
“An exchange of views took place on international transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan, the ‘Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity’ (TRIPP) initiative,” it said.
According to the officials, the meeting also focused on opportunities for cooperation in transport and artificial intelligence within the framework of the Strategic Partnership Charter.
The parties reviewed the potential participation of US companies in data centers, and other initiatives being implemented in Azerbaijan across priority sectors.
