US engages in dialogue at major energy forums in Baku

Amy Carlon, Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Baku, is representing the United States at two major energy gatherings taking place in the Azerbaijani capital — the 12th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council.

The information was provided to domestic media by the US diplomatic mission in Baku.

In addition to Carlon’s participation, US Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy and Business Affairs Caleb Orr is set to address participants via video message.

Both ministerial meetings are being held at the Baku Congress Centre. The events have brought together senior officials and stakeholders to discuss cooperation within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor and green energy initiatives.

President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, is attending the meetings.
