Uzbekistan, France set up joint chamber of commerce
Uzbekistan and France have opened a joint chamber of commerce, the press service of the Uzbek president said.
The agreement on the establishment of the chamber was reached following Mirziyoyev's talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in an extended format, Caliber.Az reports citing Uzbek media.
The parties also agreed to open an office of the Business France agency in Tashkent.
French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Uzbekistan on November 1 on an official visit.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and France will hold talks on further development of Uzbek-French multifaceted relations. The focus will be on expanding practical interaction in trade and economic, innovation, investment and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Mirziyoyev and Macron will also take part in a joint business forum with the participation of companies and banking and financial institutions of the two countries.
The summit will result in the adoption of several intergovernmental and interagency agreements, as well as a package of trade and investment agreements.
