Uzbekistan proposes Central Asia–Azerbaijan investment forum in Samarkand
13 November 2025 19:37
Uzbekistan has proposed holding a Central Asia–Azerbaijan investment forum in 2026 in Samarkand.
The initiative was announced by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, during the first meeting of trade and investment ministers from the region and Azerbaijan in Tashkent, Caliber.Az reports, citing Uzbek media.
The minister said the event could serve as a platform to unite regional business initiatives and showcase a joint “Made in Central Asia” brand.
Kudratov noted that producing goods under a unified regional label should help boost exports and increase the recognition of Central Asian products in international markets.
